Expedition 2022
On the 2022 expedition, there were four items that were overwhelming, namely plastic bottles, crab pots, plastic lids and squid jigs. We recorded over 690 African Black Oystercatchers and documented 80 signs of Cape Clawless Otter.

Expedition 2020 .
The main finding of the 2020 Strandloper Project coastal research expedition in October was documenting the density and distribution of a nurdle (plastic pellet) spill that began washing up on the southern Cape coast in the first week of October.2022.
